#Oz season 4 disc 3 update
Since libraries are moving away from audio books on cassette, I decided to create a modified edition of the MIPS holdings here where I can update it quickly and more often. I just don’t have time to do that any more. However, it has a few quirks, one of which is the need for me to go in and ‘turn on’ visibility for items after other people add them. Over time, that grew to encompass a large number of titles. As a result, Ellen Wood, webmaster at the Maine State Library and I created the MIPS database on the Maine State Library Website.

MIPS (Maine’s Interchangable Parts) grew out of a realization by me and other librarians that all too often a whole set of audio cassettes/CDs or movies on DVD were tossed because one piece got damaged or lost.
